Grass Types In Ultra Sun
Note: I won't be including Island Browse or Ultra Wormhole Pokemon, as they are harder to get than the ones in the principal Pokedex.
Decidueye
Decidueye has solid Attack and gets squeamish moves like Leaf Blade and Spirit Shackle. Information technology is a starter though, and it is fragile, pregnant you're out of luck if you didn't choice it.
Lilligant
With Quiver Dance, Sleep Powder, Petal Dance, and Own Tempo, Lilligant can be truly fearsome nether the right circumstances. Withal, it'due south still quite frail, and it has a pitifully shallow movepool.
Leafeon
Keen Assault and solid Defense make it a hard-hitting, fairly beefy attacker. However, the other defensive stats it has are bad, and the Mossy Rock can be an annoyance to get to. It has a shallow movepool, but the moves it does get are proficient.
Lurantis
If you get one with Contrary and Leafage Storm, information technology murders. However, that is its Hidden Ability. Information technology's very tedious, but it does sport a good Assault and pretty nice defenses. It has a surprisingly decent movepool, with access to Leech Life, Brick Break, Leaf Blade, and Superpower.
Shiinotic
Terribly ho-hum, and not very physically bulky. Morelull does get admission to the astonishing Spore though, and Shiinotic gets nice moves similar Giga Drain, Dazzling Gleam, and Sludge Bomb.
Parasect
Non very proficient. Devastating weaknesses to Burn and Flying types, plus Ice, Toxicant, Issues and Rock. Awfully slow, and the simply halfway decent stat it has is a base 95 Set on.
Tsareena
You can get a Bounsweet from a trade on Akkala, meaning it gets additional experience. Information technology'south very common, and has a astounding Attack, though it is slow. Queenly Majesty is pretty good, and it has moves like Trop Boot, U-plough, and Zen Headbutt.
Cradily
Too slow and too defensive to be worth much in-game. It does have a few decent moves, merely that isn't enough to make it that good. It as well comes at a very depression level and evolves at a very loftier level.
Trevenant
Existence a trade evolution weighs it downwardly, but information technology does have a nice movepool and solid Assault. Information technology's fragile and quite dull, nevertheless (sensing a blueprint?).
Silvally-Grass
Post-game only, therefore it'southward not good. I would become into more detail, but in that location's no point.
Dhelmise
Yous can merely get it on Poni Island, and information technology's an incredibly rare find from Seafolk Village. Steelworker is a cool Ability though, and information technology has slap-up Set on and respectable defenses. With moves similar Anchor Shot and Power Whip, information technology's quite proficient if you don't heed the expect.
Tropius
Too defensive for in-game. It's too weak for battles, with numerous weaknesses and not very many good moves. It has crippling weaknesses, it'due south ho-hum, and doesn't even have a BST of 500.
Alolan Exeggutor
Boring, but a cracking special attacker. It's decently bulky as well, and has good moves like Psychic, Flamethrower, and Energy Ball. That weakness to Ice really harms it, however.
Tapu Bulu
Legendary, meaning non all people would want to use it. It has a terrible weakness to Poison, and it's really annoying to find. Information technology does get practiced moves like Superpower, Megahorn. and Wood Hammer.
Based on this, nosotros can narrow the field downwards to a few Pokemon.
- Decidueye
- Leafeon
- Lilligant
- Tsareena
Lilligant should be your become-to special Grass type, but do keep in mind that Grass doesn't have a whole lot. If y'all don't heed waiting until almost the end of the game, Alolan Exeggutor is better, only it merely takes and then long. Decidueye is a keen Grass type if you option it as your starter, but simply and so, as you lot can't get information technology otherwise. Leafeon and Tsareena are great physical attackers likewise, and Tsareena ever then slightly edges out Leafeon due to a higher Attack and more than varied movepool.
Hope I helped!
